• You can begin by checking the records in your area based on your social security number, date of birth and other information. This information is available to anyone.
  
  

Requesting an Official Copy

• If you would like a more official copy of your records, you can mail a signed cover letter, an up-to-date fingerprint card and a payment of $18 to the following address:

Fingerprinting

• Fingerprint cards can be obtained by a fingerprinting technician at your local police department.
  
  

Processing

• Once you have mailed your information, allow eight to 10 weeks for your request to be processed.
