Youth ministry provides the young people of your congregation with a time dedicated to learning about the teachings of the Bible and the ins and outs of your religion.
If you're having a hard time finding fun church crafts for your class, check out the following Bible craft.
Handprint Rainbow Sunday School Craft This Sunday school activity is perfect after sharing the story of Noah's ark with your students.
It also allows your students to express their artistic side.
For this Bible lesson for kids, you'll need the following: *Plenty of large construction paper *Wide variety of colors of tempura paints Have the children in your Sunday school class use the paint to create handprints in different colors.
Explain to them how to place their handprints on the paper in order to create a rainbow's arch.
This church craft has many educational values, also.
If your youth ministry is filled with younger students, go over the colors of the rainbow with them.
For older kids, practice the order of the rainbow colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).
You can even let your kids go wild with their drawing and add in a pot of gold, birds, or other objects that will liven up their illustration.
Memory Verse Bible Study Lesson This Sunday school activity is great for helping your youth ministry students memorize their Bible verses.
Every month, write out the memory verses you've covered on different pieces of paper-one word to a piece.
Make sure that you use heavy stock paper or construction paper so that they will last longer.
You could even get the pieces laminated for ultimate staying power.
When you're ready for the activity, give the students one piece of paper; hand out a complete memory verse.
Then have the kids scramble themselves up until they are in line, in order of the words of the Bible verse.
For extra fun, break up the class into two teams and see who can correctly line up the fastest.
These two great Bible study lessons that will be sure to make your children's liturgy a fun, educational place to be!
