Everything To Help You To Understand Telepathy

It is not simple to define telepathy, in fact most people do not even believe it exists at all. It is basically being able to convey a thought or feeling without being in the presence of the other person involved.

Communication through telepathy is not done in the normal way we communicate.

A common belief among scientists and animal trainers, is that animals have been doing this for as long as they have been around. They are absolutely convinced that this is an integral part of the way they communicate with each other and that their abilities allow them to do so over large distances.

Many believe that ancient man inherently had this ability to communicate with each other as a necessity of survival and that some may not have lost this ability over time.

It is not that telepathy is a cryptic thought process, it is that many do not know what it is or if they have felt it before. At one time in our historic history, humans have been telepathic. Just as easily as humans could read or write, they were able to communicate telepathically.

It's unfortunate, but our civilization has lost its ability to stretch the telepathic mind. Even though it's a natural part of the human brain, society has created a shell for most people to keep from using it.

What it comes down to is that telepathy and that "sixth sense" is connected. You may know the term "third eye" to be a more descriptive answer in your area.

There are many ways that modern humans may now experience forms of telepathy. The instinct that we all think of a gut reaction. In an even more base level, when a woman is pregnant, the baby can not tell the mother what nutrients it is lacking. Instead, the baby communicates telepathically by sending out cravings to the mother. Not all cravings are the funny ice cream and pickle types. The mother generally gets cravings that are vitamins and nutrients that may not be normal in her every day diet. By sending out these telepathic thoughts, the baby can communicate it's need to the mother without having to speak directly to the mother.

Why did society lose their abilities of telepathy for the most part?

The advent of modern day religions has effectively demonized telepathic powers to the point that the only association they have is with demonic control or with a tool of Satan. There are many new age religions that are becoming more in tune with telepathy however.

Because formal religion has gained in power over the last hundreds of years, many have been trained to put their thoughts and beliefs into their religion instead of into their own inner powers. By idolizing religious icons, the church has gained some power over the faith of its followers.

So why do the major religions refuse to accept that telepathy even exists?

The opinion is that if anyone can have this ability, it would make the power of a deity less impressive. You would basically be admitting that anyone can see the future or communicate silently. These abilities are supposed to belong to a higher power, not the common man.

Most modern day science does not put any stock into telepathy.

Even though we do have open-minded scientists who believe in telepathy, there are some out there who think it's virtually impossible. The thought behind it is that you cannot taste or touch it, nor numerically measured. Believing this only keeps the positive thoughts at bay.

It is hard to explain why there is no scientific belief in telepathy. Other senses can be felt by every human being, yet telepathy is only well known to just a small portion of the world. But even with the proofs in place, some will just refuse to believe or even contemplate the existence of telepathy. Some other things that require a trust in a sense to believe in are widely accepted, such as animal instincts.

Fear can be a reason why scientists do not delve too deeply into the study of telepathy, as stated before, there is a certain fear to thinking someone can read your mind. Most would rather let the subject drop and study areas that they feel have more value to themselves or to human kind.

We many never find out the true reason why humanity lost touch, but it could date back as far as the story around the Tower of Babylon. Seeing how this was the time when languages were to confuse people, it's possible that the language of telepathy disappeared.
