    • 1). Clean the surface using dish soap and rags. Rinse the surface thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before continuing.

    • 2). Apply the automotive rubbing compound in a circular, clockwise motion. Allow the compound to dry for a few minutes. Consult the directions printed on the container of your particular rubbing compound for the exact waiting time.

    • 3). Wipe away the rubbing compound using a buffing pad. Wipe in a circular, counter-clockwise motion.

    • 4). Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until you have restored the original Briggs & Stratton color.
