How to Save $15 Per Person at Disneyland

For Valentine's Day, I took my sweetheart to Disneyland for her first time.
I have been to The Magic Kingdom at least a dozen times and always have a great time, but it's so much more fun to see someone there for their first time.
I forget how much there is to see until a Disneyland newbie points it out.
I don't know about you but a day at a theme park is as much about the rides and entertainment as eating anything you want.
I'm generally a health nut so when else do I get to eat like crazy? And boy did we eat and drink! Pancakes, Mexican food, ice cream, sodas, candy, and lots of water.
One thing I wasn't sure about was whether I could take my filtered water bottle into Disneyland but it went in without any issues.
And I was so glad to have it.
We filled it up at least 10 times at water fountains or bathrooms.
It was just REALLY nice to not have to go buy plastic water or to be thirsty until you get out of line to buy one: we always had water.
The best part is the filtered bottle saved us over $30 in bottled water purchases.
That alone covered the cost of lunch and parking! As I'm sure you'll experience on your trip, we ended up walking and standing in line all day long so you're going to need to drink lots of water.
We must have walked 5 miles yesterday, criss-crossing the park many times in search of Fastpasses.
A Fastpass is the ONLY way to go at Disneyland...
just go to the ride early, pick up a Fastpass and essentially get a reservation time for the ride.
That means you can return later (within a specified one-hour window) and get on the ride in about 10 minutes instead of the usual hour-plus wait.
That was one of the best Valentine's days I've ever had and I hope your trip is equally as fun.
