• This gay-owned bed and breakfast is situated north of Dupont Circle in a brick row house dating back to 1890; it has been renovated to include wireless Internet access, central air conditioning and cable televisions. It has six rooms on the second, third and fourth floors, and an apartment with full kitchen and private entrance at street level. Most rooms have a private bath; the two top floor rooms share a hall bathroom. Rooms require a minimum two-night stay, with the apartment requiring three. A continental breakfast is available to guestroom patrons, while apartment guests can choose to add breakfast for a small fee. • The Bed and Breakfast at the Lewis William house is actually two homes connected by a large deck and courtyard. It is located within a few blocks of 17th Street and Dupont Circle. The gay-owned facility has 10 guestrooms decorated in Edwardian style, ranging from economy, regular, queen, deluxe queen and ultra-deluxe queen rooms; all have shared baths. Guestrooms offer high-speed Internet access, feather mattresses, ceiling fans and private telephones.
