Decor

• Green should be the main color for a frog-themed birthday party. Drape green crepe paper streamers along the ceiling and across furniture pieces, such as from the backs of chairs. Inflate green balloons and place them in the corners of the party area, tie them to chairs or put them any place else you think is appropriate. Look for Mylar balloons that are shaped like frogs or that feature frogs on them and incorporate them into the decor as well. For centerpieces, cut out lily pads from green construction paper and set frog toys on top of them.
  
  

Frog Party Games

• Keep guests entertained with frog-themed games. Have a frog-jumping competition by seeing who can jump the farthest from a designated point. Play the classic game of Leapfrog. Cut out a large lily pad from construction paper, laminate it and provide guests with images of frogs for a game of Pin the Frog on the Lily Pad. Hide toy frogs around the party area and have party-goers search for the frogs; the person who finds the most wins the game.
  
  

Food

• Even the menu for this frog-themed party can be infused with frog-related elements. Spread peanut butter on celery and stick raisins in it for a flies-on-a-log snack. Make sugar cookies and decorate them to resemble frogs; or better yet, have party guests decorate their own frog cookies. Use a frog-shaped cookie cutter to cut sandwiches in the shape of frogs. Serve fried chicken legs and call them frog legs. For a tasty beverage, float lime green sherbet in lemon-lime soda.
  
  

Favors

• For favors, purchase various types of frog-related toys and craft items. Items to consider include frog stickers, frog stamps, plush and plastic toy frogs and even coloring books that feature frogs along with small packages of crayons. Place all of the items in green Chinese food boxes, which can be found at party or craft supply stores. Another option for favor holders is to decorate white paper lunch bags with green frog stamps, or draw a large frog face on each of the bags before placing the items inside.
