Do Home Remedies For Hives Work?

This is difficult to answer, because urticaria, also known as hives, is a very complex issue. Many people suffer from acute (short term) and chronic (long term) forms of hives. Considering that the medical community does not know as much about urticaria, and has no real solution for treatment - I cannot guarantee that these will work for you. However, if you are at wits end with trying to find a hives cure, this can help you to strategically get relief from the itching, and make hives management a lot easier.

But first, you have to remember that there are many different forms of urticaria, and some times they can overlap. What this means is that a specific key to one strategy, might actually interfere with your specific form of urticaria. Example: A remedy that uses water might not be appropriate for people suffering from aquagenic urticaria.

However, these simple 12 home remedies for hives are easy, can work well when your symptoms are at their worst, and can be found anywhere - some you even have in your home right now!

Now that we have gotten this out of the way, here are 12 home remedies for hives.

2. Primrose oil when applied topically, or directly to the itching welts can bring relief as well.

3. Milk of magnesium is an alkaline, that when applied directly to the welts can help with the itching.
