The Race to Leave Arizona

The race is on folks.
Hundreds of Arizona's illegal immigrants are hastily making their way out of the territory before the states new immigration law takes effect on Thursday.
Countless numbers of illegal residents are headed to the eastern seaboard in search of states which are kinder with their illegal status.
I am simply astounded to hear that these people who have criminally invaded our country are so blatant at disclosing their illegal status to the media.
I recently read on one report that an illegal Mexican lady voluntarily gave her name as she was completing her plans to depart the state.
Wendi Villasenor, an undocumented Mexican told the correspondents she was organizing what few articles of value she had and finalizing plans to leave the state as the looming crackdown quickly approaches.
Although she doesn't cherish the idea of departing Arizona, she states that her family and she are headed to Pennsylvania to start over.
The same types of sediments are being voiced all across Arizona as the big migration of illegals head to other states.
Arizona's new law represents the toughest legislation in the nation towards combating the illegals and has successfully driven over 400,000 illegal chambermaids, day laborers, house cleaners, landscapers, and other undocumented workers from the state.
The law makes it a state crime for illegal immigrants to be found in Arizona.
It further implies that the state and local police authorities are authorized to investigate the status of anyone they suspect may illegally be in this country.
Under the new law it is now a criminal offense for anyone to transport an illegal immigrant anywhere in the state.
At the last established estimates there were over 100,000 unauthorized immigrants which had previously left Arizona as soon as the state's "Employer Sanctions Law" was passed just 3 years earlier.
This law required companies to verify a workers' status using the federal governments computer systems.
Although most of the illegals are heading out of Arizona there are a few hardheads which plan to remain in place and take their chances at violation of the law, while some have actually opted to return to their native Mexico.
Arizona's law productively drove the illegals out of the state before it had even gone into effect.
Why is it so imperative for Arizona to eliminate illegal immigration? To understand this, one would have to remember where Arizona is located.
The state straddles the primary drug and human trafficking corridors between the United States and Mexico.
Crime resulting for these two illegal activities has begun to run rampant and unfortunately no assistance has been forthcoming from the federal government.
In April of this year the states governor, Jan Brewer, signed the new law into effect hoping to curb both the violence as well as to diminish the crime stemming from the illegal immigration.
The immigrants that arrive on Arizona soil place a great burden financially upon the state and in particular on those taxpaying workers.
I am actually glad to hear that many of them are heading back to Mexico to avoid Arizona justice.
One has to weigh carefully the final results of chasing the illegals out of a state in this manner.
Granted wages around the state will be going up since the cheap labor will be heading to Pennsylvania.
Initially services may be difficult to locate until such time as the market adjusts itself.
Housing should be reasonable and readily available with most of the illegals departing.
The disturbance to the economy will be dominant at first but will eventually settle down to normal.
The law is solidly supported by the majority of American citizens whether they reside in Arizona or not.
Many people are applauding the results of the law indicating that it has resulted in the expulsion of a considerable amount of human debris fleeing the state.
They rejoice in the new found number of state services that should shortly be available to actual citizens.
Opponents of the recent law claim it is completely unconstitutional and is nothing more then an issue of racial profiling.
To me it is not racial profiling since an illegal immigrant can be composed from any race or nationality.
As I see it as long as there is no intent to focus on a particular nationality, no harm is being done.
Unfortunately, Arizona just so happens to have an over abundance of illegal Mexicans roaming the state.
The statute is currently being challenged in as many as seven different lawsuits including President Obama's personal vendetta to block the Arizona law before it takes effect.
This suit is expected to be resolved in the near future by a federal judge who is hearing arguments at this time.
The common consensus is that if the federal government refuses to help a state in controlling the influx of illegal migration then the state has no alternative but to deal with the situation by themselves.
I get very feed up with the assortment of bleeding heart activists that are unduly concerned over the illegals.
I simply can not comprehend what they do not understand about the word illegal? As far as I am concerned an illegal immigrant has no rights in this country.
They have broken our laws and then toss them back into our face as an ultimate insult.
Perhaps other states should look closely into enacting similar laws.
I can say only one thing for the new Arizona law and Governor Brewer.
Good job.
