Get Rid of Tiredness and Sleep Less

103 5
You know how good it feels to get a good night's sleep.
When you rise from your bed, feeling like you have a ton of energy, and that you can take anything on, you will know how good sleep is for you.
However, what about those other mornings? There are definitely mornings where you need to drag yourself out of bed and where you feel like you just want to crawl back in.
The truth of the matter is that you don't necessarily need more sleep; you might actually need less! How many times have you found yourself waking up early in the morning and glancing at the clock.
You realize that you don't have to be up for another half hour or an hour, and then you roll over, content to let the alarm clock wake you up.
If you track the way that you feel after something like that, you are going to find that you are in a place where you are waking up groggy and tired.
The problem is that you woke up in the middle of a sleep cycle.
When you woke up naturally, you were at the end of your sleep cycle and your body was telling you to wake up and to figure out what you need to do.
If you ignore that signal and get woken up by artificial means, you are going to find that you are more tired.
The truth of the matter is that everyone's sleep cycle varies.
You may find that you feel the most coherent after you have gone to sleep for two hours, or you may find that you can only sleep well in chunks that are no shorter than three hours.
The issue that you are running into when you try to cram your sleep into something that it is not is that your body is going to start to feel like it is running short on sleep no matter what you are doing.
If you want to make sure that you do get sleep, and you are getting sleep that lets you wake up feeling rested, there are a number of things that you can try.
When you feel tired, you might want to give into that if you have the opportunity to do so.
For instance, if you have the opportunity to take a nap, why not give in to it? There is nothing wrong with trying something new, and you never know if a nap is what it is going to take to help you.
Similarly, make sure that you do not oversleep on the weekends.
Take some time to make sure that you are going to be able to get the same amount of sleep every night.
This can keep you on track as well.
When you want to get sleep, and you want to make sure that you are going to be able to sleep well, keep an eye on what you are doing.
Keep a sleep journal and write in it; this can help you figure out what your needs are and how you sleep best.
