Spirit Cruises

• Spirit Cruises sets sail from the Boston Seaport District, offering private tours of the harbor while serving up lunch, brunch, dinner or cocktails. Most cruises offer large buffets, dessert, music and dancing. Cruises can accommodate two to 600 guests. Some specialty-themed cruises include New Year's Eve, Father's Day, Fourth of July and Halloween cruises. Spirit Cruises can arrange a fireworks display for special events as well.

Bay State Cruise Company

• The Bay State Cruise Company offers ferry service between Boston and the Cape Cod town of Provincetown. The journey, departing from Boston's Seaport District, takes about 90 minutes. As of June 2010, service runs daily from May to October. The Bay State Cruise Company also offers a summer music cruise for passengers 21 and over, featuring a tour of Boston Harbor, complete with live music and dancing. A similar cruise, the Student Dance Cruise, is offered for younger passengers.
