In addition to these amenities, the campground also has a playground, a game room, a swimming pool, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, and offers paddle boat rentals for paddle boating in its on-site lake (where you can also fish). Golden Isles RV Park

• Open year-round, Golden Isles RV Park offers 106 easy access pull-through sites (no backing up necessary). Each site has 30/60 amp electrical, water, and sewage hookups. The campground also offers free wireless Internet, and each site has the option for free cable television hookup. Other on-site amenities include Fran's Place Restaurant (offering daily breakfast and lunch buffet, and a Friday night dinner buffet), a swimming pool, two laundry facilities, a playground, a computer station, and sewage/trash dumping stations. If you're planning a long-term visit, you can speak to the managers about their "Work Camper" program where you work 20 to 25 hours per week in exchange for a free site and free daily lunch buffet at Fran's. Golden Isles is located only seven miles away from the coastline for easy access to fishing, boating, and other water activities, and approximately 20 minutes from historic downtown Brunswick.

Blythe Island Regional Park

• RV campgrounds are provided by the Glynn County Parks System at Blythe Island Regional Park. Reservations for the sites are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are held only until dark. All sites include water, electric, sewer, and cable television hookups, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park. The park also offers coin laundry service and heated bath houses with hot showers. Camping at Blythe Island Regional Park is a great choice for anyone who particularly wants to enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking, and boating, because the park includes an on-site lake (with beach) and several hiking and biking trails. On-site boat, canoe, and kayaking rentals are available, and you can also purchase bait for fishing.
