Ebooks For iPhones - The Way of the Future?
In my opinion, the display screen size is simply too small and cumbersome to be an effective mechanism through which to read a lengthy e-book.
In fact, I personally think that a lot of people will start using other portable devices that are a little bit bigger to scan and extract information from the e-books that they purchase.
This brings up a very good point -- the overwhelming majority of people who purchase an e-book are doing so because they are interested in specific pieces of information.
You might assume that everybody who's blind e-books these days are doing so for pleasure reading.
While there is certainly a segment of the population that will do this, as a independent e-book publisher you really need to focus on people who are looking for solutions to problems.
Either that, or people who are looking for specific things that they can do to enhance the enjoyment that they get from various hobbies or other activities.
Here's the bottom line: iPhones are highly unlikely to become a platform through which e-books are regularly enjoyed by individuals who purchase e-books on a regular basis.
That make sense? In other words, you certainly may have some people who use this device to look at the content of an e-book, but the overwhelming majority of people will more than likely choose to use another platform.
