How to Find the Address of an Unlisted Person
- 1). Go to a website designed to locate addresses, such as addresses.com, and enter the person's first and/or last name in any or all of the available name fields. Narrow the search results by entering the state or zip code, if known. The results will include a list of people with the name you searched and, if available, an address and phone number for each.
- 2). Write down any phone numbers that appear with the list of names. Phone numbers associated with your search result should be listed below each person's address.
- 3). Call the phone numbers that have addresses associated with them to see whether any of them belong to the subject of your search. If those numbers do not yield results, call the numbers without addresses.
- 1). Locate the last known address for the person in your address book or personal records.
- 2). Address an envelope using the previous address of the person you are trying to locate. Enclose a short note.
- 3). Write "address correction requested; do not forward" on the front of the envelope.
- 4). Check your mail for the envelope to be returned to you with the correct address written on it.
