When Searching For a Carpet Cleaner, Pick the Right Machine For the Job

Unwanted accidental spillages on carpets are an unfortunate fact of life and there are plenty of other situations in which property owners - both commercial and private - will consider carpet cleaner hire.
For domestic properties, a new home may need a thorough clean before new tenants move in; an individual may want to give all carpets a thorough clean once a year as part of their annual Spring clean; or there may be a pest problem (cat fleas, for example) that requires carpets receiving a proper cleaning of the kind that vacuum cleaners are not designed to perform.
In all cases, the temporary fix of carpet cleaner rental - for what is, after all, an ad hoc or occasional task - is often preferred to purchasing a cleaner outright.
For commercial or industrial properties - including, for example, nursing homes and hospitals - effective cleaning of carpets is usually scheduled at regular intervals as part of normal maintenance.
Nevertheless, it often makes budgetary sense to simply opt for carpet cleaner hire for the duration of the job.
Why spend hundreds on an industrial carpet cleaner when you can rent one for as little as $40 a day? For such large-scale jobs, a heavy duty carpet cleaner makes the task a lot easier.
Machines are available with water tanks of up to 65 litres attached to 6-metre hoses - ideal for hotels, conference areas, open plan offices and other commercial premises.
At the domestic end of the scale, smaller models are available that are capable of cleaning up to two average-sized rooms between fills.
Domestic models often have optional upholstery tools for cleaning soft furniture too.
Lightweight, portable spray extraction cleaners are ideally suited for most domestic jobs.
