All White Party

  P. Diddy started a yearly tradition with his All White Party and it can also be the perfect theme for a 24th birthday bash. Send out white invitations that not only give the date, time, and location of the party, but ask guests to wear all white outfits to the party.
  
  Since the theme is all white, decorations are simple. White balloons, streamers, and table linens adorn the room to keep with the all white effect. To party like P. Diddy, make sure there is a large dance area for guests to enjoy. Play a lot of club music like songs from Akon, Eminem, and T-Pain that will keep guests up and moving.
  
  Food should also be mostly white. Have a chocolate fountain pouring white chocolate for guests to dip various treats into. For a cake, think sophisticated and white. A wedding cake style served with vanilla ice cream would be a perfect fit for an all white party.
  
  Stock the bar area with white drinks as well. White wine, light beer, White Russians, and pina coladas will all keep the white theme. Make non-alcoholic beverages like lemon-lime soda and water available.
  
  

1960s Party

  Have guests dress in their best 60s costumes--full hippie gear, bell bottom pants, long fringed vests, peace sign necklaces, mini skirts, or even go-go boots.
  
  Decorations for a 60s party should be kept simple. Hang posters of 60s musicians like Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, and Janice Joplin. Decorate with door beads and provide bean bag chairs. Create a dance area to keep guests entertained and play popular music from the 60s, like the Beatles and the Doors.
  
  For refreshments supply food that was popular in the decade, like fondue. Have guests bring their own beer, but provide soda or water for non-drinkers. Tang was a popular drink in the 1960s and makes a great non-alcoholic drink for a 60s party.
  
  

80s Theme

  The 1980s was a decade where bigger was better. Woman had big hair and shoulder pads and the men wanted flashy cars. Have guests dress in their best 80s costumes--women in shirts that hang off the shoulder, skirts with leggings under them, or jean jackets with loads of buttons, accessorized with one lace glove, jelly bracelets, or banana clips in their hair. Men may come to the party with a "Miami Vice" look: feathered hair and lightweight jackets with the sleeves rolled up almost to their elbows.
  
  Decorations can include a black light and party decorations in fluorescent colors. Eighties music, like Guns n' Roses, Motley Crue and AC/DC, will keep guests dancing. Keep the food simple. Serve chips and pretzels along with some finger sandwiches. Have guests bring their own beer.
