• "Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction" for the PlayStation 3 has the mischievous characters armed with plenty of weapons to fight another round of dangerous foes. There's a trick to operating some of the weapons and getting ammunition for them, and some other weapons are hidden and have to be found.
  
  

Escape on the Mag Rail

• Leap out of the way of a laser after grabbing the Grind Rail. Jump to the middle rail. When you reach the top and begin traveling through a curve you will see Mag Trains coming in your direction. Jump from rail to rail to dodge them before finally settling on the rightmost rail.
  
  

Quick Select Ring

• This device allows you to change weapons on the fly. Hold the "Triangle" button and pick a weapon or equipment with the left analog stick. Pause the game and enter the option to change this ring to set your preferred weapons. You will not take damage while the game is paused.
  
  

Bust the Crates

• You will come across a number of crates throughout the levels, and some contain ammunition. Shoot them or use a melee attack to break them open.
  
  

Ammo Trick

• Wait until you are low on ammunition and then upgrade the gun. Since an upgrade automatically refills your gun you will save money you might have spent on ammo.
  
  

Swap Out Wrench

• Earn 300 skill points to replace your wrench for such pirate weapons as a cutlass, sword and axe. If you tire of the new weapons you can switch back to the wrench. Complete certain challenges, such as obtain every gadget or turn 15 enemies into penguins, to earn more skill points.
  
  

View Weapon Art

• Score 450 skill points to unlock an extra that shows weapon concept art. This bonus feature shows you the evolution of each weapon's design.
