Slipping to the Bottom of the Sea

Jumping from the decrepit wooden clapboards of an old rickety wharf may not be the way that most people would choose to dive.
But here I am with my toes extending forward, with my weight leaning backward, and the gravity of my tall black measurement evenly distributed upon the balls of my own two feet.
But who knows? A dark plunge in the night might be the best answer to my obvious plight.
And a free mind would only be willing to contemplate all of the options that have been served upon it's own respective plate.
Besides, any form of religious orthodoxy would only prove to quicken my pace.
To be sure, it might be far better to conjure the portentous consequences before an irreversible drastic choice has taken place.
But unfortunately, I am afraid that the tenuous line has since been double crossed and the time is now far too late to turn back the clock.
In my mind I have begun to think what had once been unthinkable.
Spinning, circling and rotating like a squid, I have leapt from the pan and I am now far removed from the raging heat of the boiling oil.
But who would have ever thought that it could have ever turned out this perilous way? How could I have ever become so bold? But you know what some people might say.
Regrets are for people who are often faint of heart.
Yet as you can see I have chosen to avoid the cowardly path.
And while my decision may be hard for you to accept, I would prefer that you consider it a personal choice rather than a tragic act guided by the hand of fate.
I certainly have no intention of laying the fault upon your shoulders.
In fact, I believe that there is no one left for me to blame.
So if I have the privilege of making at least one more small request.
I would ask that you try to see it my way.
For once it might be better for you to loosen your constructs.
I would even suggest that you forget about yourself for at least one short minute.
Real freedom comes from allowing people to make their own decisions however wrong that you might feel that they might be.
Let's look at it my way for a moment.
I have considered what you have said.
And I must reiterate that I have considered your advice for much longer than I might have actually wished.
My decision is best for me.
And as long as I have not denied anyone the right to live as they shall freely choose, I do not believe that I have committed any egregious sins.
