Sony has created a family of housings that are made specifically for their line of IP cameras.
The pendant mount housing and recess ceiling mount are compatible with the SNC-RX550N, SNC-RZ25N, SNC-RZ50N, and SNC-RZ30N.
The wall mount housings are compatible with the SNC-Z20N, SNC-CS3N, and SNC-CS50N.
The pendant mount housings come available in outdoor and indoor models.
The outdoor models then have options for a normal dome housing, vandal resistant housing and pressurized housing.
Also available is a wireless ready normal housing and vandal resistant housing.
That allows for the camera to be used wirelessly from the digital video recorder.
The indoor models come in normal and vandal resistant housings.
All models are available with either a clear or tinted lower dome.
The recessed ceiling housings are made for indoors and are also available with a clear or tinted lower dome.
Certain accessories need to accompany the pendant mount housings.
A gooseneck wall mount allows the camera to hang off the side of a building.
Adding a pole mount adaptor or a corner mount adaptor to the gooseneck wall mount does exactly what the name suggests.
An aluminum parapet mount allows for a camera to be placed on a roof of a building.
The wall mount housings are compatible with the SNC-Z30N, SNC-CS3N, and SNC-CS50N.
These aluminum housings are tamper resistant and offered in an indoor or outdoor style.
The difference between the two is that the outdoor housing comes with a heater and blower for more extreme temperature changes.
With this line of housings, there is no application off limits to Sony IP security cameras.
