How to Adjust the Rubber Blades on a Stone Champion
- 1). Put on work gloves.
- 2). Lift the mixer cover by tilting it back on its hinges.
- 3). Spray off any excess mortar on the blades and drive shaft with a spray hose.
- 4). Loosen the bolts attaching one mixer arm to the drive shaft with a socket driver.
- 5). Slide the arm down the drive shaft to the desired position and rotate the arm to the desired angle.
- 6). Tighten the bolts securing the mixer arm to the drive shaft with a socket driver.
- 1). Loosen the bolts securing the rubber blade to the mixer arm with a socket driver.
- 2). Remove the nuts from the bolts and set aside the nuts, bolts and washers.
- 3). Discard the original rubber blade.
- 4). Align the holes in the mixer arm with the holes in the replacement rubber blade.
- 5). Slide the washers onto the bolts from the replaced blade and insert the bolts through the holes in the mixer arm and replacement blade.
- 6). Thread the nuts onto the bolts from the opposite side of the mixer arm and tighten them in place with a socket driver.
