Easter Baskets Everyone Will Love

When my brothers and I were children, Easter was always a favorite holiday.
Getting up in the morning to find a basket stuffed with candy, small toys, and sometimes even a little money, was so much fun! Hollow chocolate eggs filled with jelly beans, homemade peanut butter eggs purchased from our church's ladies auxiliary, little plastic chickens that would lay a jelly bean "egg" when you pressed on their backs were just a few of the things we loved about Easter Baskets.
But the joys of Easter Baskets are not limited to children.
Adults love them too! And since you can put such a large variety of items in a basket, you can make or buy Easter Baskets that are perfect for just about everyone! Baskets for Children Let's face it, an Easter Basket wouldn't be the same without candy.
But if your child simply cannot have all the sugar, there are alternatives, such as sugar free candies and dried fruit.
Children also love small stuffed animals, card games, puzzle books, kazoos, silly string, crayons, paddle ball, finger paints, and Silly Bandz.
You might also try age appropriate lip gloss and nail polish for girls, and toy cars and Bakugan for boys.
Don't forget to line the baskets with "grass" and embellish with colorful ribbons! Baskets for Adults The basket options for adults is limited only by your imagination and your budget.
Theme baskets are especially fun, and you can make or buy one to satisfy just about any adult.
Try a "movie night" theme with some microwave popcorn, theater style candy, a bottle of soda, and a DVD or two.
A "spa" theme might contain a terrycloth robe, a pedicure kit, a sea salt scrub, and some nail polish.
For the man in your life, you might try stuffing the basket with things like a silk tie, a wristwatch, cologne, small electronics, and office supplies.
Gourmet baskets are always appreciated and are available in many varieties, or you can make your own.
Luxury chocolates, wines and liquors, Artisan breads and cheeses, extra premium fruits, nuts, and baked goods are just a few ideas.
Whether you buy them, or make them up yourself, giving an Easter Basket is an exciting, fun tradition that can be handed down through the years from parent to child.
Everyone feels special when they receive it.
And you will be especially appreciated for giving it!
