• 1). Retrieve the documentation that accompanied your Visa card. Note that some cards have the activation instructions on a sticker affixed directly to the card.
  
  
• 2). Visit the company website associated with your Visa card. Click the link "Activate Card" or "Register Card."
  
  
• 3). Complete the online form with the information requested, such as your name, the 16-digit Visa card number and your email and billing address. In some cases, you may be instructed to enter your social security number as well.
  
  
• 4). Confirm your information and click the link "Activate" or "Register." Wait for a confirmation message to appear on the screen.

• 1). Dial the toll-free activation number that accompanied your Visa card.
  
  
• 2). Listen to the automated menu. Select the prompt to activate your Visa card.
  
  
• 3). Listen to the prompts and enter the information requested. Stay on the phone until the system confirms that you have successfully registered your Visa card.
