How to Make a Beat with MPT
- 1). Connect your phone to your computer with the mobile Phone Tools USB cable and then wait a few seconds for MPT to launch automatically on your computer.
- 2). Click "Melody Editor" in the "Customize" menu on the MPT homepage.
- 3). Select the song from which you wish to extract the beat from the drop-down menu in the "Melody Files" window.
- 4). Click "Crop" in the "Selection" window. Drag the arrows underneath the song simulator to a section of the song that contains just the beat. Drag one arrow to the beginning of the clip and the second arrow to the end of the clip. You can use the "Play" button to listen to the beat that you cropped.
- 5). Select the green check mark in the "Selection" box, click "Transfer" and then click "OK" to move the file to your phone.
