With pharmacists increasingly becoming the first port of call for many patients, it is useful to have basic knowledge of common eye disorders. This article will discuss distinctive signs and symptoms for common eye conditions and provide a rationale for their management. Table 1 lists possible questions pharmacists may ask during a consultation with a patient presenting with an eye problem.
