Popping the Question on Valentine"s Day?
So your gonna pop the question on Valentine's Day.
Some people think that this is risky and that Valentine's Day make popping the question cheesy etc.
I think it's perfect! You get to remember the day you proposed for every Valentine's Day to come.
Your grandchildren will tell their children on Valentine's Day the beautiful story of your engagement! Having said that, I think that you have to make it unique to propose on a holiday! You can go the classic putting it in the food or having your pet bring it over.
Or you can create a grand and romantic gesture.
Sing outside her window, show up at her work or school, or take her for a drive somewhere special to propose.
I have a bunch of friends who have recently been married, and I can't tell you how they got engaged because I don't know! But you're friends will be talking for weeks about how you popped the question and it opens up a great story for a speech at your wedding!! Just remember to be prepared when proposing.
You shouldn't be spontaneous with something like marriage proposals, because then you will end up somewhere in Vegas with an Elvis and Aliens as your grooms men! Believe me it's a lot worse than it looks in the movies, and some movies make running away to Vegas look romantic! I hope that this little article helped you make some decisions about popping the question.
I have a bunch more ideas on my blog that is all about Valentine's Day presents for 2010! I've linked my blog to this article so you can check it out! It will take you right to the page where I posted about popping the question, but I have a whole bunch of ideas for GREAT presents for Valentine's Day!
