"Black Ops" Zombies Perks and Effects
- A player who buys "Quick Revive" gains the ability to more quickly revive themselves and if in a multi-player game, their partners too. The Quick Revive perk costs 500 points in a solo game and 1,500 point in a multi-player game, making it the cheapest perk available. In a solo game, the player is revived automatically, and gets to use the "M1911" while down. According to the player characters, this perk has a fishy taste.
- The Jugger-Nog perk, identified by the tall, red vending machine with a white cross at the top, doubles the player's health. This means the player can take four hits from a zombie before going down and five hits from hell hounds, giving the player more chance to survive when surrounded. A close look at the vending machine, which will cost the player a somewhat pricey 2,500 points, reveals that this perk is made from real eggs.
- This perk triples the fire rate of the player's weapon -- that is, the time between each bullet. This is less effective in some weapons that already have fast fire rates, as it can lead to wasting bullets on zombies that are already dead. However, it is very useful for weapons like the shotgun, which has a longer pause between each shot. Double Tap Root beer will cost the player 2,000 points.
- In zombie mode, reloading time can mean the difference between life and death -- some weapons such as the browning take a very long time to reload. This can be resolved with the Speed Cola perk, which doubles the reload speed of the player's weapon. Players can easily identify the Speed Cola machine by the lighted picture of a hand at the top of it. The Speed Cola Perk costs 3,000 points to buy, making it the most expensive Perk-a-Cola.
