From beach parks with boardwalks to rock-climbing walls, Floridians and visitors alike can enjoy the many free resources offered at Miami Beach parks. - Located on Collins Ave. and 79th St., the North Shore Open Space Park is a busy beach park that spans eight city blocks. It features a shaded picnic area, outdoor showers, changing rooms, concession stands, nature, bike and exercise paths and the boardwalk. Lifeguards are on duty, and the beach has a shallow slope. There is a playground and tot lot for the kids, as well as a mega rock-climbing wall for more adventurous adults. Three pavilions are also available for rent.

There are two lap pools and a water playground with a lighted deck, with a locker room and showers. The park also has a playground, a tot lot, basketball courts and soccer fields. Thanks to a comprehensive lighting system, the park, including its pools and ball courts, is open daily until 9 p.m.

There are also two playgrounds and a rock-climbing wall.
