Differences Between MBTI Types
- Are you naturally drawn to the outer world of activities, excitements, people and things or are you more drawn to the inner world of thoughts, interests, ideas and imagination? If the former, you are an extrovert, an expressive person who is likely to enjoy have a variety of varied relationships with others. Otherwise, you are an introvert, or an attentive person who tends to prefer one-on-one social contact.
- Sensing people are naturally attuned to the sights, sounds, smells and other details of the here and now. They are well grounded in reality. Intuitive people seek to interpret the overall patterns of their past and present experiences. They are speculative, conceptual and oriented to the future.
- This distinction pertains to the way you naturally make decisions. Do you tend to make them in a detached, objective fashion? If so, you are a tough-minded thinking person. If you instead make decisions based on subjective preferences, values and the impact on others, then you are a friendly or feeling person.
- People who are judging tend to approach the world with plans and schedules. They are task-oriented and enjoy scheduling and bringing projects to completion. Perceiving people adopt and adapt to the outside world, taking things as they come. They enjoy multitasking and keeping plans open-ended.
