    • 1). Fill a sink with warm, soapy water. Use a mild, organic soap.

    • 2). Place the open critter ball into the bath and scrub it inside and out with a soft sponge. Use a handled sponge brush if you can't fit your hand inside the ball.

    • 3). Rinse the critter ball. If it still has an odor, make a paste of baking soda and water and coat the insides of the ball with the mixture. Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes, then rinse the ball again.
