Embark on a Spiritual Tour of Char Dham

Considered as highly sacred by the Hindus, 'Char Dham' or 'the four abodes' is a term used for the group of four pilgrimage sites in India. These four sites are Badrinath, Dwarka, Jagannath Puri, and Rameswaram. Adi Shankaracharya, a great Hindu theologian and philosopher, had identified the Char Dham that comprised of three pilgrimage sites belonging to the Vaishnava sect, and one belonging to Shaiva sect. This journey to the four abodes' during one's lifetime is considered as a highly sacred deed by the Hindus.
