- 1). Unlock a character that has the ability to change into a monkey. Characters like Marion in Cairo can change into a monkey, or you can unlock the monkey by purchasing the Mutt character at the hut on the hub beach.
- 2). Place the character onto a red pad. These pads can be found in levels that have vines, and exploration accessible to monkey characters.
- 3). Press the "A" button. Once you press the "A" button with the appropriate character on the pad, that character will turn into the monkey. You will then have the pet monkey that you can use to explore the various, hidden parts of the game levels.
