Instructions

• 1). Close any running applications on your computer for the installation to complete without interference.
  
  
• 2). Attach the smaller end of the USB cable to the bottom of the phone. The proper USB cable comes with the new phone packaging. There is a standard USB jack on one end, and the smaller Palm Pre-compatible jack on the other.
  
  
• 3). Attach the larger end into an empty USB port on your computer.
  
  
• 4). Click Start, then My Computer in Windows XP to locate your phone. In Windows Vista, click Start, Recent Items, then Computer. In Windows 7, click Start, then Computer.
  
  
• 5). Double-click Treo Setup, then setup.exe to begin the software installation.
  
  
• 6). Follow the prompts to select your preferences for syncing your phone with your computer. This will set up Outlook for your emails, calendar, tasks and contacts. You may also choose among music, pictures and videos and documents.
  
  
• 7). Click Sync your PC and Treo to begin the initial syncing process.
