Buy the amount of fabric that the pattern specifies for the size of your baby. Buy a clear vinyl shower curtain for the plastic lining. Air the curtain or a few days to get rid of the volatile gases that new vinyl has.
- 2). Lay the pattern out according to the pattern's instructions, and cut out the cotton fabric, as well as cutting out the same pattern from the clear vinyl shower curtain.
- 3). Follow the pattern's instructions based on the size of the pattern you need for your baby. Chances are, it will have you sew the side seams first, and then sew the elastic to the waist and leg holes.
