How to Word Invitations to Jungle Parties
- 1). Purchase blank jungle-themed invitations or make your own. If you decide to make your own, be creative: Use jungle stickers featuring animals like giraffes and lions, and jungle colors such as greens, oranges, and reds. Leave space in the center to word the invite.
- 2). Greet the potential guest with a jungle sound or lingo. For example, you might write: "Roar! The great lion prince has called his loyal subjects (friends and family) together for a safari!" Be as kooky as you like, for instance, "Me Tarzan; You Coming to My Party."
- 3). Describe your address as part of the jungle. You might write: "Location: Johnny's Lair" and then provide the address. If you have a pool or if there will be water, mention something along the lines of "Bring wetsuits for exploring the Amazon River (a.k.a. our pool)."
- 4). List menu items using exotic-sounding foods. If you're serving hamburgers and chicken wings, for example, call them elephant burgers and dodo wings. Put the actual food name in parentheses so you won't gross out or confuse your guests.
