Home Business Millionaire - Common Sense Approaches And Ideas

Here are a few commonsense ideas and suggestions when deciding upon which business to pursue in working from home: 1- Always do your research on every company that makes a proposal to you.
Again this sounds obvious but you'd be surprised how many people jump quickly at the claims and suggestions of a persuasive marketer.
There are websites devoted to uncovering scams in the marketplace but surprisingly you must be aware of what you are reading.
Many of the sites only use the guise of being interested in your success when in reality they are promoting their own products or programs.
This brings up an interesting point.
While the Internet has opened the world to information and opinion for some reason it is also allows anyone with a gripe or complaint to be heard.
Think back for a moment on a bad experience you had with an individual.
Let's change this discussion and have you think about when someone had a bad experience with you.
What was the outcome?Did they tell the truth about you? Were they honest and forthright in their own weaknesses and drawbacks? The point in getting to is that it is very difficult to find the actual truth of an incident on the Internet.
People tend to gloss over their own problems and focus on the faults of another and this leads to distorted stories about companies and programs.
I think this is a good phrase to live by: there is no truth on the Internet, unless you know where to find it.
So unless you know the truth you will not be able to find the truth.
What I'm saying is be very skeptical about anyone saying anything negative about companies.
But when you find that many people have been burned, or taken advantage of a particular company that it's time to take a serious look at those complaints.
2- When someone offers to have you join their program do a little research into them.
Ask them hard pointed questions.
Ask them what their past successes or failures have been.
Ask them for referrals of people that have joined under them.
Don't just take at face value the things they say.
Now if they are new in particular company I suggest you give them a little slack.
I have been to seminars and training where these million-dollar promoters would claim that the only people that you should talk to are million dollar promoters.
Well it may be alright for them but I'm not sure I would want to be one of their trainees hearing them say those things.
If the person is new ask them to be on a three way call with their sponsor or someone in their company who has succeeded in this area.
Attend tele-seminars and webinars or online calls to hear about their program.
But never I repeat never, ever, ever! join the first day you hear about a program! If that is a requirement for you to join simply walk away or hang up the phone.
There's a psychological sales technique called "fear of loss" that they use to try to intimidate somebody signing up today.
Most of those who sign up today are gone tomorrow along with their money.
3- Make sure that your sponsor is going to be the mentor you are looking for.
It is almost impossible to weave through the plethora of online marketing programs without someone who has succeeded before you giving you advice.
Having a coach or mentor should be requirement for anyone going into business.
You become too emotionally attached to certain decisions and a coach can help you see the way without being attached to the final outcome.
If this person is not going to be the mentor you're looking for but you still like the company you have a few options.
You can find another person in this company to your sponsor or you can find an outside mentor to help you.
4- My next commonsense advice seemed so obvious: is this legal? I believe there are lots of companies that are currently running an operating that won't be in the near future.
Why do I say this?Because of the rapid growth of the Internet and what has happened, the slow government bureaucracy of the IRS and other similar agencies have not been able to keep up with the rapid expansion.
I believe many companies will fail the scrutiny of these government agencies and be shutdown.
Now some of the companies are obviously illegal but others you may not know until it's too late.
Many home business promoters are relying upon this fact to stay in business.
My advice is that if it just doesn't feel right, then don't do it.
5- Remember that anyone who is trying to promote you and have you join their program is looking for the money in your wallet to be transferred to their wallet.
I'm not saying this is a bad thing but just remember that this is their objective.
If they are willing to train you and teach you their program in an ethical and purposeful fashion it's worth transferring money from your wallet to theirs.
We do this all the time.
We want a new shirt or blouse and we therefore transfer the money from our wallet to the cash register of the store.
It's how we do business.
But just be aware that that is their final goal and if they deserve it and it's a good program and you feel that you can do it then by all means do it.
6- Keep all receipts, correspondence and records involved in joining this program.
Some programs do not allow any refunds and well at first this sounds unethical when you look at the program you may understand why.
Other programs do offer a complete hundred percent guarantee return even after 30, 60 or 90 days.
Obviously these have more appeal than one that does not offer a refund but I have found that if there is a way out, most people will take it.
They just aren't committed to the work and effort is necessary to make a home business succeed.
7- This brings up my last point: be willing to take the time necessary to learn the product, advertising methods, and everything else associated with the program to make it work.
I have seen too many people join a program, put a few hours of work into it and since they didn't see an instant return, get all disgruntled and disgusted and claim it was a scam.
The reality was that they were lazy and were looking for a get rich quick scheme.
When a program does not allow refunds it may be a sign that this is a good business and will force you to do the things necessary to make it work.
With these tactics in mind and avoiding the obvious scams like envelope stuffing, reading e-mails, mystery shopping and others, it is possible to find a decent home base business that you can actually become a millionaire with.
It is happening every single day and more and more people are being reached every single day through this amazing medium.
And such success can happen to you.
