Have you ever gone to bed feeling felt totally stressed out, hassled and frazzled by the amount of conflicting demands made on you during your day? Do you ever feel there are not enough hours in the day to fit in everything you have to do, let-alone find "me-time.
" If you are like me, a mum with three children and work for yourself or another company, life is full.
To help you manage the stresses and strains of modern day living, it is essential you take time out during your day to relax.
Failure to do so means you run the risk of running on empty and wearing yourself out.
Practice the following three easy -to-do inverted yoga exercises before you go to bed.
They will help you to relax and release any tension and concerns you are going through.
As with any form of physical exercise, please exercise caution and respect for your body.
If you suffer from back pain, place a folded blanket under your buttocks to support your lower back as you practice these poses.
Three Easy Inverted Yoga Exercises To Help You Relax 1.
Legs-Up-The-Wall 1 o Lie on a soft blanket or yoga mat on your right side with your buttocks against a wall.
Roll on your back and stretch your legs up the wall.
Keep your buttocks against the wall and lie with your back on the floor and your legs elevated against the wall.
Keep your legs together.
Breathe slowly and deeply and feel your back relaxing and releasing into the floor, whilst gently stretching your heels up, the wall, away from your hips.
Take 10 - 30 deep steady breaths.

Legs-Up-The-Wall 2 o Remain in the above position.
Breathe out and open your legs apart, to form a wide V - shape.
Keep the backs of your knees open against the wall.
Breathe deeply in and out, allowing your hips to relax and soften and lower back to sink into the floor.
Take 10 - 30 deep breaths in this position.

Legs-Up-The-Wall 3 o From the above position bend your knees and draw the soles of your feet together.
Relax your hips as you continue to take 10 - 30 steady breaths.
To come out of the pose, bring your knees together and roll onto your right side to come out of the pose.
To survive the stresses and strains of a busy day at work or at home caring for your children, it is essential you make time to care for yourself.
The above inverted yoga exercises are simple to do and allow your body to relax, and calm your mind.
You will feel better and have a good night's sleep.
