Being Skinny Is A Horrible Feeling - Here Are Some Reasons Many People Struggle With Weight Gain

You've been skinny and underweight since as long as you can remember, you have taken verbal abuse, then called all kinds of unflattering names and no matter what you seem to do and you just cannot pack on any pounds.
You would give anything to put on even a little bit of weight, but so far you have just not had the success you are looking for.
So what exactly are your options? Usually there are two different ways that you can put on weight.
You can either be a bunch of fatty foods that have a lot of calories which will build up your body fat or you could start a workout program and put on some muscle weight.
I'm pretty sure 99% of people are looking for the muscle weight part and not be unhealthy way of adding body fat.
Almost anyone who is naturally thin or skinny, has at least attempted to lift weights once or twice in their life.
And usually what happens is they do not get any results, they get tired or frustrated, don't stick it out and just quit.
The problem with this is even though you were willing to put in the time lifting weights, were you doing a proper program that was built around gaining weight for skinny people? There are a lot of programs out there that claim to teach you how to gain weight, but the unfortunate part is most of the people who wrote them whenever skinny themselves.
Is it an absolute necessity that if you are serious about changing the way you look, that you follow someone who has been there before.
It just does not make any sense to follow somebody who was never skinny themselves does it? Another big problem that many people face that can't seem to gain weight, is they do things that are counterproductive.
There are a few things that you must absolutely avoid, especially for skinny people, if you are ever going to be able to put on weight matter what the program.
Without knowing these and making sure you are not committing them, you're in for a long road of frustration.
So stop looking at the muscle magazines on the racks at your grocery store.
These people never looked like you do to begin with and it's sad that they make people think that if they follow certain programs they can look like that.
The best way to get where you want to go is to follow someone who has been there before.
