How to Get Rid of Mold on Canopies
- 1). Fill a 5-gallon bucket with water. Add about 1/2 cup dish soap or about five squirts, and also pour in 1/4 cup liquid bleach. The dish soap will clean away residue while the bleach kills the mold and mildew growth.
- 2). Rinse off the canopy with your garden hose. This washes off the loose growth and softens any remaining mold.
- 3). Dip a long-handled cleaning brush into the bucket of water and scrub across the canopy, concentrating especially on the moldy area. Continue as needed until the canopy is cleaned to your liking.
- 4). Rinse off the canopy and allow it to air dry.
