The HTC Smart is not designed for people who want a complex, full-featured smartphone; it's aimed, instead, at people who want smartphone-like features in a cheap, easy-to-use device. The Smart runs on Qualcomm's BREW mobile platform, which can run a few apps, but lacks some of the more advanced features found in mobile operating systems like Android, Windows Mobile, and the iPhone OS. But the HTC Smart does offer a 2.8-inch touch screen, a 3-megapixel camera, and support for 3G networks.
