For something to be right it must stand up against all that comes against it.
This is not the case with religious leaders who alter their dogma to deny or incorporate new discoveries.
Most are still grappling with evolution and while the evidence for it is undeniable they have managed to somehow bury it and hide it away from their congregations.
This is possible only when and if their audiences are denied the right to examine it for themselves.
Evolution is a big thorn in their side because it overturns many of the principles on which their teaching stands.
For example a virgin birth, as claimed for Jesus Christ, is impossible.
Genes from both parents are required to produce an offspring.
In the New Testament the Spirit was responsible for his mother's pregnancy so it is a myth.
Spirit has no genes and no sperm.
Reincarnation is another of the pressing issues that religions can't survive.
With memory of my last death and passage to a new life the facts are that heaven and hell are also myths.
These, however, are the rocks on which faith stands.
With so many now declaring their memories of reincarnation it is something that cannot be denied.
The miracle of healing presents another problem for them.
Each religion claims to speak for God and that their gods are the only ones with such power.
The everyday cure of major diseases, such as cancer, addictions, and so forth, by ordinary people is something they cannot resolve.
The Spirit is the only God and it alone heals and brings peace or creates wars and suffering.
This is declared in the Old Testament prophecies: "I am God, and there is none else; there is no god beside me...
I form the light.
And create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I God do all these things.
