Relieve Pregnancy Aches and Pains

As you enter the later stages of your pregnancy, you might begin to experience some aches and pains. Most of the time, these discomforts are expected physical responses to the increasing weight and nutritional demands of the baby or hormonal fluctuations. However, you should always inform your doctor or midwife about any changes or discomforts you experience during any stage of your pregnancy just to be safe.

Four Daily Dos
Start with these four important steps that will help insure a healthy, comfortable pregnancy.
1. Walk at least 15 to 20 minutes a day in a cool, shaded (or indoor) area.
2. Drink eight to ten glasses of water, juice, milk, and other liquids without caffeine, carbonation, or artificial coloring.
3. Rest on your side for at least an hour in the morning and evening.
4. Eat five or six small meals throughout the day.
