Wiggles 'n Giggles Thunder Bay

• Wiggles 'n Giggles Thunder Bay (wigglesngiggles.ca) is a children-oriented indoor playground in downtown Thunder Bay. This recreation center features a slide, ball pools and swings. Birthday packages include Jolly Wiggler for birthday parties of four guests and Ultimate Wii Birthday Party, which allows the birthday child to invite seven friends and play Wii video games. The maximum time for parties is two hours. Only children under 12 may play in the Wiggles 'n Giggles facility. No shoes or bare feet are allowed in the play area. Partiers may not bring outside food or drink, including birthday cake.
  
  

Thunder Bay Museum

• Situated in downtown Thunder Bay, the Thunder Bay Museum (thunderbaymuseum.com) provides exhibits concerning the history of Thunder Bay. This museum hosts theme birthday parties for children, including the Dino Party -- where children can put together a large dinosaur puzzle -- and Jazzy Jewelry, which allows children to construct bead bracelets. These parties cater to children ages 5 to 10. Parties must supply their own cake and decorations; the museum's party room is available for two-hour slots. Birthday packages also include a tour of the museum; the museum only allows 10 children and 10 adults in a birthday party.
  
  

Founder's Museum and Pioneer Village

• The Founder's Museum and Pioneer Village (founders.ca) is in southwest Thunder Bay on Highway 61, less than 10 minutes from Thunder Bay Airport. This Museum features exhibits of Thunder Bay's early settlers in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Heritage Community Hall, located on the Museum's premises, is available for birthday parties. Up to 80 guests may be seated for a banquet setting in the Community Hall. A sound system is available for live or DJ music entertainment. Founder's Museum provides on-site catering for parties; guests may not bring their own catering. The museum does not permit alcohol in the Heritage Community Hall.
  
  

Fort William Historical Park

• Fort William Historical Park (fwhp.ca) is in western Thunder Bay, located on the banks of the Kaministiquia River. This park features indoor facilities for birthday parties, including McGillivray's Landing, a banquet room with a capacity for 500 seated guests, and Canot du Nord -- a room with rustic décor that accommodates 80 guests for banquets; McGillivray's offers views of the Kaministiquia River. Fort William provides live entertainment for parties with musicians and actors playing the parts of 18th and 19th century fur traders. On-site catering is available for birthday parties at Fort William.
