Recently, Intex Technologies had launched a new dual SIM smart-phone, the Aqua Wonder. Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar, General Manager - Mobile Business, Intex Technologies said, "Our objective is to reach out to every market in the country and enhance the quality of lives of people by offering innovative gadgets. Understanding the current need, we entered into the smart phones category last year and so far have launched 8 models. At the same time, our price range is so dynamic that consumers will have not to burn their pockets to buy new gadgets."
Intex Aqua Wonder runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it is powered with dual core 1 GHz processor along with 1 GB of RAM. The smart-phone offers 4.5 inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The smart-phone is 8.9mm thick and weighs 125 grams. It is embedded with 3G enabled dual SIM slot with GSM network.
AQUA Wonder comes with a 4.5-inch capacitive touch-screen with a resolution of 960X540. The device has 1.93GB of internal storage on-board, which can be expanded up to 32 GB using a Micro SD card. The device has 8 Megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash for quality photos and video and 1.3 MP front-facing cameras for video chatting. It is mounted with 1800 mAh battery and the talk time is up to 3.5 hours.
The handset supports application such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Maps, Youtube, Nimbuzz, Skype and Google+ come pre-installed with device. The smart-phone will be available in Black and White colors. As an introductory offer, Intex is also offering 4GB Micro SD card, phone pouch and screen guard free with the purchase of this device.
Intex is currently offering seven more smart-phones in the Indian market and plans to have a total of 10 smart-phones by March 2013. The cost of the model is said to be Rs 9990 and will available major distributors, retails stores and hypermarkets.
