King Jesus, Our Candidate
Grace to you and peace be multiplied to you through the revealed knowledge of God and Jesus our King Lord.
In a world where the presidential candidates banter against each other instead of providing details and solutions for the issues they plan to address, we as believers have a marvelous incumbent who has already laid out what He has come to do! Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you.
Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
[Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.
] You heard Me tell you, I am going away and I am coming [back] to you.
If you [really] loved Me, you would have been glad, because I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater and mightier than I am.
And now I have told you [this] before it occurs, so that when it does take place you may believe and have faith in and rely on Me.
John 14:27-29 (Amplified) When all you hear out there from the candidates is "My opponent wants to do this, but I will do that;" you can't help but gravitate to the Master of our Kingdom, Jesus Christ! He not only can tell you what He will do, He tells what He has given us already! He said His peace He has left us.
Not the peace that the world promises, but His.
What candidate can say that? It's a no-brainer.
It seems to me that any wise person would direct us to Jesus as our source of hope and change.
Jesus said to stop allowing ourselves to be agitated and disturbed by the circumstances.
He goes on to say that He has told us before it happens so that when it happens we may believe and have faith.
The missing link that our candidates fail to possess is the correct knowledge of what faith is.
Faith is not what religion you believe, faith is putting the power of God into your life by believing His Word and then speaking it back into the Kingdom! I am not saying we shouldn't vote.
I am saying we have to master the Kings knowledge of the Kingdom of God, and operate in that wisdom instead of the wisdom of men.
If we have sown seed into the kingdom of God then we are not to worry about the state of the economy.
God will prosper anyone who follows His Word in spite of what the price of crude oil does.
" If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
" John 15:7 Notice here that Jesus said that if we live in His Word and His Word lives in us we can ask whatever we will, and it shall be done for us.
This is the key to overcoming a bad economy, bad health care, bad national security, bad weather, or WHATEVER! Either our king is off the wall, or He meant what He said.
I choose to believe He means what He says and hope you do too! No candidate can say what our King has already said a long time ago.
We have a King Lord that has blessed us with a kingdom that can overcome any problematic symptoms that exist.
How do we know if we are in Him? If we do what He says.
"But he who keeps (treasures) His Word [who bears in mind His precepts, who observes His message in its entirety], truly in him has the love of and for God been perfected (completed, reached maturity).
By this we may perceive (know, recognize, and be sure) that we are in Him:" I John 2:5 (Amplified) If we decide to do what He says, He has already decided to act on our obedience and that is absolutely wonderful! You should also notice that He said we can ask what WE will, and IT shall be done FOR us.
The emphasis was added by me to reveal that it is our will that He will grant, and that it will definitely be done for us.
That is absolutely personal.
It's OK to shout about that, God won't be mad at you.
"I do not call you servants (slaves) any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing (working out).
But I have called you My friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from My Father.
[I have revealed to you everything that I have learned from Him.
] "You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], He may give it to you.
" John 15,16 Jesus called us friends because He has shown us everything the Father has revealed to Him.
Candidates say "my friend" but hide who their running mate is, or details that can help make our decision about them.
Jesus even tells us what to do to increase our financial portfolio.
You will even see that we are the ones that put the limit on our wealth.
"Jesus said, Truly I tell you, there is no one who has given up and left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for My sake and for the Gospel's Who will not receive a hundred times as much now in this time--houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions--and in the age to come, eternal life.
" Mark 10: 29,30 (Amplified) Our King says that whatever we will give for His sake and the Gospels will receive in return 100 times more.
What kind of economic policy is that? Kingdom policy that's, what.
We, not God therefore determine what we get back.
Remember Jesus said God revealed this to Him so we can take it to the Kingdom bank amen? I don't care that some other candidate can give a stimulus check back to us.
That candidate didn't say that we will determine the amount of the check, but our King Lord did.
Not only that but that the afterlife will be taken care of as well.
"And when Jesus heard it, He said to him, One thing you still lack.
Sell everything that you have and divide [the money] among the poor, and you will have [rich] treasure in heaven; and come back [and] follow Me [become My disciple, join My party, and accompany Me].
" Luke 18:22 So if the economy is issue #1 in your life sell what you have and give to the poor.
You will surely have treasure that you can withdraw from and don't allow yourself to be agitated and disturbed because God has your outcome assured.
