Where will you go when you die, have you ever asked yourself?

If you were caught in a fire, would you wonder where will you go when you die? Even if you were not caught in a fire, would you have such a thought?

It is quite unlikely

I was going to the shop to buy something and a little distance away from where I was, about 100 meters or so, I saw smoke appear. Now, I do not have the time to go looking into such things as even 24 hours in a day is not enough for me. But the smoke started to thicken and as it was near to me, I approached and saw a raging fire.

There was a row of huts, around 20 or so and the first three of them were on fire. People were running here and there and shouting and screaming and trying to get water in buckets to douse the fire. But the raging fire would not cease.

Where will you go when you die is a question nobody thinks of

Soon, I heard the sound of sirens and knew that it was probably the fire brigade. I turned and saw 4 fire trucks, two small and two big. They rushed to the spot and it took them nearly an hour to douse the fire. Hundreds of people had gathered.

It was like there was some kind of a real show going on. People hardly bother to think of life and the value of life, until they are faced with some kind of disaster.

No value for our lives

We do not value our lives. We take things for granted. When was the last time you stopped and watched the sky? When was the last time you heard the birds chirping around you? When was the last time you stropped to smell the air around you?

Why should you bother to so all these things? They are unimportant right? Why should you care about such things? They are trivial right? These are all things that we take for granted. We do not care for them, until we no longer have them.

Where will you go when you die is not at all important

This is hardly something that you would even have time to think about. And it would be safe to assume that almost 99.99% of the population of this planet does not bother to think so. We are all so busy with our lives and we think that our lives will never end and that there will always be a tomorrow.

But that is wrong. The moment you live could be your last. There could be a fire that could end it all. Or an earthquake or a tsunami or you could meet with an accident or you could die of a heart attack. And then…think about it…Where will you go when you die?
