    • 1). Request that the charge be stopped. To do this, call the company attempting to charge your debit card.

    • 2). Remove or change your billing information if possible. Access your account online or by telephone.

    • 3). Speak in person with a representative of the bank that issued the debit card. If other methods fail, request a stop-payment or file a fraudulent transaction with the bank. As proof of your identity, you may need a driver's license or other identification card.
