The Best Cheats for The Simpsons: Hit & Run
- One of the world's most famous families got its own game on the Playstation 2, PC and Gamecube consoles: The Simpsons Hit & Run. It's vaguely like Gand Theft Auto, only in Springfield, the home of the yellow cartoon family. While the game is a lighthearted take on Matt Groening's world, you may find it a little easier to play if you get some cheats first. Fortunately, there are a bunch of simple cheats that will make your game interesting, if not simpler.
- In order to do any cheat in any version of this Simpsons, you'll need to get into cheat mode first. On a PS2, you'll need to press start to bring up the menu, go to "Options," then press and hold the L1 and R1 buttons. Playing the Gamecube version is more or less the same, only the controller has an L and R button instead. Finally, the PC version has a cheat mode. Press the Esc key, then hold down the F1 button. With Cheat Mode on, type in the desired code from the following sections.
- On PS2: Press "Triangle," "X," "Triangle," "X." Gamecube players can get this with "Y," "A," "Y," "A." If you're on a PC, you can by pressing "Right," "Up," "Right," "Up." Your car will take no damage, which is a huge help in tougher missions.
- Whenever you hit another car, it could explode if you access cheat mode before pressing the following combinations: PS2 players type in "Triangle," "Triangle," "Square," "Square;" for Gamecube, "Y," "Y," "X," "X;" on PC, use "Right," "Right," "Left," "Left."
- To get rid of top speed, type in the codes. PS2 players, hit "Square," "Square," "Square," "Square." On the Nintendo version, "Y," "Y," "Y," "Y." On the computer, type in "Right," "Right," "Right," "Right."
- Your car can leap into the air by pressing the horn button, provided you start with the correct code: on PS2, "Square," "Square," "Square," "Triangle;" on Gamecube, "X," "X," "X," "Y;" and on PC, "Left," "Left," "Left," "Left."
- Knowing the speed of the car you're driving will help. Type in "Triangle," "Triangle," 'Circle," "Square" on PS2 'Y," "Y," "B," "X" on a Gamecube, or "Right," "Right," "Down," "Left" on a PC.
