    Wireless Network

    • 1). Go to the "Home" screen by pressing the "Home" button, which has the image of a house on it.

    • 2). Press the "Menu" button, which is immediately to the left of the "Home" button.

    • 3). Tap "Settings."

    • 4). Tap "Wireless & network," then "Mobile Hotspot," then "Network settings," and finally "Configure."

    • 5). Tap "Automatic" or "Manual" for your wireless network setup. The "Automatic" option will have your device broadcast a secure network, and the network's password will be the phone's number, without spaces, dashes, or parentheses. The "Manual" option will prompt you to enter a network name ("SSID"), enable or disable "broadcast SSID" (enabling this is fine as long as you use WPA2 security), choose the network security (ideally WPA2), and enter the network password.

    • 6). Press the "Home" button after the wireless network setup.

    • 7). Tap the "Applications" option found near the bottom of the display. This option will show you the full list of your Droid Charge's apps.

    • 8). Tap "Mobile Hotspot." Your phone will display information about the wireless network feature, and you'll need to tap "Continue" after viewing it.

    • 9). Tap "Turn on Mobile Hotspot."

    • 1). Plug the Droid Charge's USB cord into the USB port on the left edge of the phone.

    • 2). Plug the other end of the cord into a free USB port on your laptop.

    • 3). Go to the "Home" screen by pressing the "Home" button, which has the image of a house on it.

    • 4). Press the "Menu" button, which is immediately to the left of the "Home" button.

    • 5). Tap "Settings," then "Wireless & network," then "Tethering."

    • 6). Tap "USB Tethering" to enable it and provide Internet access to your laptop. To disable tethering, just tap the option again.
