Homemade Peroxide & Vinegar Hockey Equipment Disinfectant Spray
- 1). Clean out two spray bottles with mild soap and warm water. Allow them to dry completely.
- 2). Pour white vinegar in one spray bottle. Pour the hydrogen peroxide in a separate spray bottle. Alternately, and for best results, simply screw a spray head from another bottle onto the opaque peroxide bottle, because light tends to destroy the peroxide rapidly.
- 3). Spray one of the chemicals directly onto the hockey equipment. Then spray the other chemical directly onto the area where you sprayed the first chemical.
- 4). Allow the two sprayed liquids to set for 5 minutes on the gear.
- 5). Soak a washcloth in warm water. Use this to rinse the sanitizer from the hockey gear.
