At that time it would only be nine holes, since than it has added in another 9 holes creating a full 18 hole course.
The area would also be attended by many who would head to watch orchestras and be able to enjoy those waters of course.
The Rock Park and Pump House hotels would have the water pumped in for all visitors to enjoy during their stay.
The Victorian touch can still be seen in many of the shops that are presently in this area.
It is something that is wonderful to see, almost like stepping back into the past.
